The Klatwa Paddle
(for the Khatsalano Series)
This is a traditional Greenland-style design to accompany the Khatsalano series, with the Feathercraft take-apart feature. Crafted from western red cedar, pine, and ash, this is a two-section paddle with a furrel join and a flush spring button in the center of the shaft. Blade tips and edges are ash. The finish is multiple coats of real tung oil for a true craftman finish.

4-Piece Fibreglass Paddles
For a kayak that fits into a back-pack, it is useful to have the Feathercraft four-piece fibreglass paddle. This paddle is durable, light, and will fit into the same pack as your boat. To create the four parts, each blade is a section, with one join in the center of the shaft. Paddles can be adjusted to be feathered or unfeathered as desired. Strength is not compromised.
The Cormorant
(medium-wide blade: 16.5 cm, or 6.5″)
This is a good width for general-purpose paddling.
220 cm, 230 cm or 245 cm
weight: 0.904 kg (1.99 lbs)
The Flicker
(narrow blade: 13.5 cm, or 5.25″)
This narrower spoon provides a bit less power, but eases stress on wrists and shoulders with less wind-resistance. This is suggested for a less developed paddler; when muscles are tired and sore, or for those who like to paddle at a quicker stroke rate.
