"The name is Feathercraft, but they are certainly not 'featherweights' in the sea kayaking ring! Although they are remarkably light, Feathercraft kayaks are tough and rugged. Black Feather has been using Feathercraft expedition models on our Greenland sea kayaking trips since 1987, and believe it or not, a few of the original 6 K2 Expedition are still going strong! This is over 20 years of 'institutional' use. Yes, there are a more than a few patches, and numerous frame pieces have been replaced, but the fact of the matter is that the Feathercraft kayak is a boat worthy of the ice-choked fjords of Greenland."

A 17 day kayak trip for a family of four; Mom, Dad and two kids, aged 8 and 10. The boats handled some fairly steep waves and crazy weather wonderfully.
